Main thematic focus: modern medical education and health literacy
The MEFANET conference will continue in 2026 in a new format. After a series of standalone conference editions, MEFANET is reconnecting with its community, this time as an expert educational block within the AKUTNĚ.CZ Conference, organised by the Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk University.
The MEFANET educational block will be part of the programme of the 18th AKUTNĚ.CZ Conference, which will take place on 21 November 2026 at the Bohunice University Campus in Brno.
The content of the block will be built mainly around health literacy, support for informed decision-making, and educational tools in the field of prevention and care. The aim is to connect the traditional MEFANET community with current topics in medical education, digital support for teaching and learning, and communication between healthcare professionals and patients.
