Moodle belongs to learning management systems and is available as an open-source software under the GPL open licence. It integrates various tools for study management and sharing of teaching/learning materials. Among others, the system makes it possible to control access rights, to provide tools for the administration of courses, study plans and students' activities. Further, it contains tools for the communication, creation, operation and evaluation of teaching courses and objects, students' examination, etc.
